This page explains what it covers and what it cannot do
This page sets out general safer-gambling advice and states plainly what this site can and cannot do. Any account controls, checks or gambling activity happen only after a reader leaves this site.
- This site has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch on, check or enforce a deposit cap, loss cap, reality check, cooling-off period or self-exclusion
- Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any such check happens at the destination a reader is redirected to
- No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader who has shown risky behaviour
Find independent help links on every page
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations.
- GambleAware NSW
- Gambling Help Online
- Responsible Gambling
These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.
Know that account controls live at the destination, not here
Where a reader wants to limit or stop their play, the tools for that sit inside an account on the operator's own site, not on this one.
- Each operator link redirects to a third party; from that moment the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply
- Deposit limits, loss limits, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion are arranged by a reader inside an account at that destination
- The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page
Apply a few practical habits before playing
These are general habits worth setting up before money is involved, not steps that happen on this site.
- Decide the amount before starting and treat it as already spent — deciding in advance removes the pressure to justify "just a little more" once play is underway
- Never chase a loss — trying to win back money already lost tends to push a bigger stake into a losing position
- Keep gambling out of borrowed money — money earmarked for other obligations turns a loss into a debt problem
- Take breaks — stepping away interrupts the momentum that makes a session feel like it has to continue
- Involve someone else early, once it stops feeling like entertainment — an outside view is often clearer than one formed in the middle of a session
